Wow! I'm thrilled with these updates. I hear an improved sound and better playability (that is, the instruments seem more under my control), especially apparent in the Viola! (I didn't want to say anything at the time, but I was disappointed with the Viola when it was released; I simply found the sound unsuitable for solo work, although I did post a minuet from a Bach cello suite performed on the Viola, which I updated just now with the new version of the Viola: https://soundcloud.com/jason-castle-1/b ... a-20151125)

I'm amused that you've added even more violas, considering that in typical ensembles, there are 2 to 3 times as many violins as violas. So, I can only assume you will eventually add more violins. I already have more than enough for my needs (with only 3-4 violins to a part); but, it might be nice to have more to choose from. ;-)

With the more refined sound and greater playability, I'm (finally) very pleased with the SM strings! Now, to practice, practice, practice, to develop a technique worthy of their lovely sound!
