for my part, I feel completely fulfilled with those fantastic instruments that have been released already. I can't think of anything new or better. Well, maybe except some ancient, pre-classic era instruments like bagpipes, Krummhorn, shawm, rackett, etc. Although it is already possible to approach these sounds with available Samplemodeling instruments, with the right microtuning, windcontroller playing style, and audio treatment.

I'm thinking more at improvements than new instruments, there are many things they could do better. ;)

ancient, pre-classic era instruments like bagpipes,
Bagpipes are not outdated, nor is Blues-Harp.
Both would be interesting targets for Modeling.
