Re: Samplemodeling Solo & Ensemble Strings

I've been asking this questions since the de-merger of Sample Modeling and Adio Modeling, and Sample Modeling announcing their "propriety technology". No answer yet :( .

Re: Playing the Sample Modeling VST with a ROLI Seaboard

Many thanks for this review ! I also do have a Rise 49 (and a TEC BBCv2) and intend to play "The Trumpet" (and SWAM instruments, and ...) with it. I already did some research on that topic, but did not yet start doing the actual setup. So I think I might be able to take advantage of your findings al...

Re: Samplemodeling Solo & Ensemble Strings

Once the engine is crafted and known to work perfectly for string instruments, doing gut strings (or whatever) instead of steel strings will "only" need to do a new set of samples to be taken from an appropriate physical instrument. We do know that SM is perfect in doing this work :)

Re: Samplemodeling Solo & Ensemble Strings

This is great news indeed !!!! The sound of the demo is fantastic. I suppose only very few experts will in a "blind" test suggest that it's not the original sound of the orchestra shown in the video they hear . Now as you are not likely to swap horses any more :) , can you disclose if the "completel...

If this is really programmed in a DAW this is unbelievably awesome.

Re: No Samplemodeling-products any more?

That definitively is a good behavior, even though it's a bit hard to wait that long for a chance of getting a product that does not feature the bug in the Kontakt-Version which seemingly hit's only Breath (not Wind-) controller live players. But I do stay very hopeful that the "new stuff" will be ab...

Re: Trumpet 3 missing Notes

In fact I agree with close to everything you say (especially "5." :) ), I only need to state (and repeat) that the "Trumpet" is not really usable live playing with a Breath controller due to the problem I pinpointed. In fact you can say that this is a "lack of feature" and not a bug, as it only affe...

Re: Trumpet 3 missing Notes

As the bug had already been confirmed by SampleModeling in this thread, I suppose an additional support ticket would not make much sense. I had been told that they are working on something completely new. I draw the conclusuion that they would not be inclined to search for the bug in the Kontakt scr...
